Willemstad, Curacao

I went to Curacao (Dutch Antilles) back in 2006. A very beautiful island of the coast of Venezuela. This is Willemstad, i think it's the capital, don't remember lol. In Curacao, Dutch is the official language, but everyone speaks Papiamentu. It's a creole language, mixture of Spanish, Dutch, some French, and I think Swahili.

The beaches were so beautiful:) and I loved the colorful houses.

Wow, very beautiful indeed. Thanks for sharing the photos! The buildings along the water remind me a bit of the scene here in Prague.

Should I post them on your site, or on my blog? I actually haven't taken too many recent ones, though we had a big snow storm though of which I took a few pictures, so no sunny ones at the moment. I did take many when I first got here in 2005, but I want to get some by the river and the Prague Castle, which is actually the biggest castle in the world, so even though its still chilly here, its been clear a few times, so if I get a chance, I will head down to the river and take some photos, but I'm leaving town for a week or so to London for a small break before the new semester starts, but will let you know!
